I built this pond about 5 years ago and I love the hobby. It relaxes me
Build one and you will see. It is not hard and you won’t regret it.
For perspective.

We had a pond once, but something kept eating the fish. I prefer having an aquarium.

Pretty sweet! I technically have a pond. The Lake has taken over my back yard. Not as relaxing
I found a Sunchaser too!

My neighbors are assholes who keep buying cats and refusing to let them inside. They eat my fish and ruin my garden. I would report them to the HOA, but guess who the HOA president is... -_-
Long story short, I’m tempted to kidnap the cats and give them to someone who will actually take care of them.

Nice, should make it more productive. Im gonna be building a simular system but with the intended goal of aquaponics. Raise some perch and have a flood drain system in the green house.
Good hobby in deed. This is my fish, its sucks
Oh and thats my moody teenager convict cichlid hidding in her hole.

I have a pond with a turtle (I had two but one died), a huge goldfish, and a bunch other fish. It and had a massive waterfall.
It needs real filtration though, before I had any more animals to it.

Keep the algee at bay. Use a sand or DE filter.

We have outdoor cats, and most of the neighborhood does. Haven’t had any fish problems, also no mouse problems.
